What is a foreign transaction fee? (USA applicable only)

Some banks or credit card companies charge a Foreign Transaction Fee, also known as an International Service Assessment Fee, for purchases from merchants located outside of the USA. As Arc'teryx is a Canadian company, some banks apply this fee to charges by Arc'teryx. Other banks use independent third party credit card processing companies that charge this fee. Your financial institution could also be applying a similar cross-border assessment fee.

Arc'teryx only charges the amount shown during check-out and in our email notifications. We encourage you to contact your card-issuing bank to lean more about this fee.

Does Arc'teryx sell gift cards?

Arc’teryx sells gift cards that are redeemable for purchases at participating Arc’teryx brand stores and on Arcteryx.com. See www.arcteryx.com/giftcards for more information, including participating stores and full terms and conditions.

Why does Arc'teryx price their products higher than other companies?

Arc'teryx specializes in high-quality design and production. Our products incorporate the very best in fabric and construction technologies, infused with an aesthetic appeal to deliver the most advanced products available. Our products are made using the finest fabrics (high-quality Cotton from Turkey, Merino Wool from New Zealand, Italian-made textiles), and our meticulous attention to detail means that our products receive more care and attention during the manufacturing process than many other garments on the market.

Where are Arc'teryx Veilance products manufactured?

Arc’teryx Veilance products are designed and prototyped by our team in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Manufacturing takes place at our own local facility, or with trusted partners. We have longstanding relationships with our global operators, who are trained by us in the advanced manufacturing techniques required to deliver Veilance standards of quality.

How can I guarantee that my Arc'teryx Veilance product is authentic?

Purchasing Arc'teryx Veilance items from authorized retailers only, or via our online store will ensure that the product you buy is authentic and supported by the Arc'teryx Warranty Program. Items offered for sale by individuals or third-party websites may still be authentic, but consumers should adopt a 'buyer-beware' mentality and exercise common sense.

How does Arc'teryx approach issues of social and environmental responsibility?

Arc'teryx is part of the Amer Sports Group, a global collection of technically-advanced apparel and equipment brands. Arc'teryx and its factories strive to meet or exceed standards of social and environmental responsibility as outlined by our parent company. Amer Sports Group has posted position statements concerning these issues on their corporate website.

Product Care Information

Arc'teryx garments constructed using GORE-TEX® and WINDSTOPPER® fabrics are designed to provide exceptional weather protection and breathability. Routine care and maintenance will ensure an optimum performance from your Arc'teryx Veilance garment.

The build-up of dirt and other surface contaminants such as body oil, sunscreen and sweat can reduce the effectiveness of the textile's durable water repellent (DWR) treatment, affecting performance and breathability. Dirt allows water molecules to be drawn into the face fabric, saturating or 'wetting out' the fabric, and leading to increased levels of condensation on the inside of the garment.

Properly washing your Arc'teryx Veilance garment will remove dirt and other contaminates from the garment, restoring its water repellency and breathability where applicable. Products constructed with Merino Wool and Jersey fabric also have specific care requirements depending upon the nature of the fabric, however we strongly recommend dry-cleaning for all our Veilance wool garments.

For more information on how to wash your Arc'teryx Veilance garment, please visit our Product Care page.

Sizing Information

Arc'teryx Veilance garments are designed for a trim fit on the wearer. All our measurements are 'true', that is to say, we do not size our products to be larger or smaller than the size advertised. Our pants can be easily tailored for a perfect fit. For more detailed information on how to find your body measurements, please visit our Sizing Chart page.

Returns Policy Information

Product damaged through wear and tear, misuse, or neglect may be repaired at a nominal charge.
