GORE-TEX® PRO SHELL
Veilance garments are constructed using the most advanced technical fabrics, designed to withstand the rigours of daily life. GORE-TEX Pro Shell fabric is a superior quality, durable, waterproof and fully breathable textile that delivers an unparalleled user experience. The technical nature of these fabrics enable Veilance garments to offer complete weather protection in a classically-styled envelope.
GORE-TEX® SOFT SHELL
Several Veilance jackets incorporate GORE-TEX Soft Shell technology — a fully waterproof membrane bonded to a soft-to-the-touch, nylon face fabric. Breathable and yet fully water resistant, these textiles provide full weather protection and the technical advantages of GORE-TEX, while the soft hand enables the garment to drape and move smoothly.
WINDSTOPPER®
GORE-TEX® WINDSTOPPER fabric combines a durable, yet soft-to-the-touch face fabric with a bonded windproof membrane. The result is a technical textile that provides a barrier to moving air, while remaining breathable and comfortable.
Coreloft/Primaloft Insulation
Combining classic tailoring and modern technologies, Veilance is able to offer a range of insulated jackets that provide exceptional warmth and increased comfort for the wearer. Lamination techniques bond panels of high-loft Coreloft and Primaloft insulation fibres directly to the face fabric. The result is a single-ply insulated garment that eliminates cold spots created by traditional quilting.
Schoeller® Nylon Face
The stretchy, breathable properties of Schoeller are laminated to a Merino wool backer to provide warmth and comfort. A Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating is then applied to the soft, stretchy exterior face fabric to provide added weather resistance. The pairing of these two textiles into a technical garment, styled with a modern aesthetic, delivers a unique user experience.
TECHNOWOOL™
Technowool is a laminate of polyester fleece backing and finely-spun wool that adds warmth and technical performance while retaining the natural, classic look of wool. The result is a high performance textile that combines a traditional appearance with superior thermal insulation.
Merino Wool
Merino Wool is super soft and non-itchy and is the fibre of choice for garments designed to be layered next to the skin or as a mid-layer insulation piece. Natural moisture-management properties enable ’intelligent’ body temperature regulation due to the complex structure of the wool fibre. It is naturally odour resistant and able to draw moisture and perspiration away from your skin, leaving you feeling dry and comfortable.
