Arc'teryx Veilance is a collection of technically-focused and aesthetically desirable menswear clothing. Designed and constructed using our extensive knowledge, gained from over a decade creating premier outdoor apparel, Arc'teryx delivers a new user-experience in performance menswear. In a time of advancing technology, we have learned to expect more from the devices and utilities in our lives. Our goal was to develop a line of menswear products that transcends the stereo-types and at the same time, educates the consumer to demand more from their clothes. Classic tailoring and high-tech utility were combined to provide highly-stylish garments that are comfortable, functional and versatile. |
Our design process incorporates the very best practices in garment manufacturing, including anatomical patterning for the ultimate fit, technical fabrics that provide protection from the weather while remaining breathable and light-weight, and laminated textile technology for aesthetic appeal. By using the classic menswear items as a starting point and fusing advanced construction techniques with performance-fabrics, the Veilance collection has been designed to be both unique and distinctive, while maintaining the ability to blend in and not stand out. Anatomic Patterning
The human body comes in many shapes and measures. To make garments fit properly, a true three-dimensional perspective is required. We structure our garments with complex compound curves and intricate patterns so that they fit the human form, in motion and while stationary.
Field Jacket Hand Pocket
Constructed to be completely waterproof, passing GORE-TEX's most stringent rain room test, this hand pocket nonetheless retains an easy access. A zippered stretch woven security pocket is hidden under the flap.
Field Jacket Draw Cord
Elasticized waist cord keeps cold wind from creeping in and the allow for the option of a tighter silhouette. Cinched from inside the hand pocket.
Field Jacket Cuff Closure
Webbing cuff band with Hypalon sliding pull-tab replaces the usual Velcro closure.
Long Coat Internal Cuff
Internal laminated gasket stretch knit cuff comfortably seals out the elements without binding or the need for constant adjustments.
Field Blazer Lapel Zipper
Multi position front zip closure can be zipped top the top for added weather protection.
Interior Document Pockets
Featured on the Field Jacket and Long Coat. Large interior laminated Stretch woven document pocket sized to fit a business envelope and hides an additional small zipped security pocket inside.
Cargo Pant Thigh Pocket
This cargo pocket conceals a stretch mesh pocket, configured to hold a cell phone in an easy to reach position, even when sitting.
Stealth Pant Hand Pocket
Concealed zippered hand pockets ensure that small items don't fall out while sitting.
Field Pant Rear Pocket
Back pocket flap conceals a zippered security pocket.
